When
making computer-controlled experimental equipment for
research purposes, a series of processes are necessary
beginning with converting sensor data from analogue
to digital, computing that data and then transmitting
appropriate signals. In this program, students learn
how to make digital measurements and control. When you
wish to achieve your new idea, software programming
alone is insufficient. You must also have some knowledge
of hardware and implementation technique. It is easy
to make what you want if you are able to design circuit
using FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array) in addition
to the design skills of the hardware and software. This
program imparts basic skills that are highly useful
to anyone planning to use robots or computer-controlled
equipment of any kind in their research regardless of
their field. |
