Representative Career Routes After Graduation

In the laboratory, we organize on-the-job training (OJT) for your experience to know company missions and solutions, which require advancements in research. According to laboratory missions that focus on intelligent coordination among the brain, body and environment/society, alumnae and alumni mostly get positions in companies related to mechanics, system design, machines and automobile, because products in those companies need consideration of issues concerning safety, quality control, precision for automobile intelligence and automation. Related fields are automobile and plant management technology and medical support engineering (information engineering) to be typical career paths. The supervisor will give you advice to maximize your potential, while he does not interfere your career paths. The job hunting will be done by each student based on respect for the concept of free will. The laboratory will do its utmost to help you set up research themes and establish basis for learning to develop abilities that are in line with your career plan, while will not intervene in your choice or decision-making.

Even if you participate in collaborative research projects with a company, based on appropriate discussions, consultations and agreements, the main research results will be published at academic conferences and journal papers, after removing confidential parts for both parties, those activities will contribute to job hunting activities as a consequence. It has a positive effect and there are no restrictions such as not being able to get a job in a specific company or field.

I always hope that graduates will play an active and important role in society in the future, leading to industrial promotion, cultural development, cross-border cooperation and world peace.
