DAMD course – LSSE Kyutech

The “Leading Southeast Asia Cooperative Program for the Development of Advanced Medical and Diagnostic Technologies (DAMD program)” is a human resource development initiative that cultivates innovative leaders in the fields of medicine and welfare.

Implemented as part of the educational programs at the Graduate School of Life Science and Systems Engineering, Kyushu Institute of Technology, the DAMD program provides outstanding students from Japan and Southeast Asian countries with an integrated learning environment that covers a wide range of advanced engineering fields related to medical and welfare sciences.
These include the creation and evaluation of new materials for tissue regeneration, the development of diagnostic devices, the construction of novel drug delivery and regenerative medicine systems utilizing shock waves, and the modeling of human gait, visual recognition, and brain information processing.

Through this comprehensive approach, the program aims to foster global engineers capable of contributing to the realization of a sustainable society.
