Welcome to laboratory of
Human-Function Substitution Systems
in
Graduate School of Life Science and Systems Engineering
Kyushu Institute of Technology

The purpose of our laboratory
The purpose of our laboratory is to develop biological-function substitution system for the elderly/the disabled. By using research results, we would like to develop assistive devices or rehabilitation devices in the near future.

Research methodology
1st: Measuring/comparing motor/sensory function of the disabled/the elderly and the non-disabled
2nd: Designing device/method which can make up for a deficiency of function
3rd: Investigating whether or not the disabled/the elderly can use our device or not improving device
4th: If there is a problem in our device/method, we will execute 1st step to improve the device/method.
