応募から当日までFrom sign-up to the day

  1. 参加したい実験のフォーム（Microsoft Forms）から登録します。数分以内に、受付番号つきの確認メールが届きます。Register through the study’s form (Microsoft Forms). A confirmation email with your reference number arrives within a few minutes.
  2. 研究責任者のアドレスから、実験日時のご案内をメールでお送りします。1人で応募された方には、他の応募者との日程調整についてご相談することがあります。We email you a date and time from the principal investigator’s address. If you applied alone for a pair study, we may contact you to arrange a session with another applicant.
  3. 前日に確認のメールをお送りします。都合が悪くなったら、メールに返信するだけで変更・取り消しができます。We send a reminder the day before. If something comes up, just reply to change or cancel.
  4. 当日、研究の内容を改めてご説明します。納得された場合にだけ同意書に署名していただき、計測を始めます。説明を聞いたうえで参加をやめることもできます。On the day we explain the study again. We only start after you have signed the consent form, and you may still decide not to take part after hearing the explanation.取り違えを防ぐため、来室されたときに氏名・年齢・利き手を口頭で確認します。To avoid mix-ups, we ask you to tell us your name, age and handedness when you arrive.
  5. 課題が終わったら機器を外し、紙のアンケート（負担感、難しさ、集中度、不快感、感想）に答えて終了です。After the task we remove the devices and you fill in a short paper questionnaire (effort, difficulty, concentration, discomfort, comments).

安心して参加いただくためにFor your peace of mind

  • いつでも中止できますStop at any time 研究者が複数名つきそいます。気分が悪いとき・やめたいときは、手を挙げるだけで中止します。Several researchers are with you throughout. Just raise your hand to stop.
  • 女性だけの実験も選べますWomen-only sessions ムスリムの女性の方をはじめ、ご希望の方には、女性の実験者だけで、窓を目張りした外から見えない部屋で実施します。ご案内も女性が行います。応募フォームで選べます（理由は書かなくて大丈夫です）。On request — for example for Muslim women — the session is run by female researchers only, in a room with covered windows that no one can see into, and you are guided by women throughout. Choose it in the sign-up form; no reason needed. その回の動画と視線計測カメラの映像は、実験のあとすぐ女性の研究者が頭部にモザイクをかけ、漏れがないか目で確かめてから研究に使います。モザイク前の映像を扱うのは女性の研究者だけです。Right after the session, female researchers blur every head in the video and eye-tracker footage and check it by eye before it is used. Only female researchers handle the unblurred footage.
  • シャワー室Shower room 脳波キャップのジェルを洗い流せるよう、近くの施設のシャワー室を予約してご用意します（どなたでも使えます。シャンプーなども用意し、実験室からご案内します）。待合室（座敷）とシャワー室がひと続きの休憩室になっていて、休憩室ごと内側から鍵がかかります。ペアの実験では、女性の方が先に使えます。女性どうしのペアなら、待合室で待ちながら一緒にお使いいただけます。We book a shower room in a nearby facility so you can wash out the EEG gel — anyone may use it, and shampoo and other basics are provided; we will walk you there from the lab. The shower and a tatami waiting room form one rest area, and the whole area locks from the inside. In pair sessions, women may use it first; two women can use it together, one waiting in the waiting room.
  • タオル・大きめのウェットティッシュTowels and large wet wipes シャワーを使わない方にも、タオルと大きめの使い捨てウェットティッシュを用意しています。If you prefer not to shower, towels and large disposable wet wipes are ready for you.

安全と中止についてSafety and stopping

  • 室温約25℃の部屋で、研究者が複数名立ち会います。The room is kept at about 25 °C and several researchers are present throughout.
  • 気分が悪くなったり、やめたくなったりしたら、いつでも手を高く上げてください。すぐに中止します。If you feel unwell or want to stop, raise a hand at any time and we stop straight away.
  • 研究者が体調の変化に気づいた場合も中止し、必要に応じて保健センター若松などにおつなぎします。If we notice any change in how you are, we stop too, and if needed take you to the campus health centre or other medical care.
  • 機器を付けた場所に、まれに赤みやかゆみが出ることがあります。装着の前に皮膚の状態を確認します。軽い疲れを感じることもあります。Occasionally the skin under a device becomes red or itchy, so we check your skin first. You may feel slightly tired.
  • 実験後に使えるティッシュやウェットティッシュを用意しています。Tissues and wet wipes are provided for afterwards.

参加は任意ですTaking part is voluntary

  • 参加しない場合や途中でやめた場合でも、履修や成績、入学などで不利益を受けることは一切ありません。Not taking part, or stopping part-way, will never affect your courses, grades, admission or anything else.
  • 参加の同意は、実験後でもメールや書面でいつでも撤回できます。You can withdraw your consent at any time afterwards, by email or in writing.
  • 参加された方個人への直接の利益はありません。成果は学会や論文で公表し、協調動作の理解やリハビリテーション、効果的な情報提示などの分野に役立つことが期待されます。There is no direct personal benefit. The results will be published at conferences and in journals, and are expected to contribute to understanding coordinated movement, rehabilitation and effective ways of presenting information.

個人情報とデータの扱いYour personal information and data

  • 応募には、本学が契約している Microsoft 365 の Microsoft Forms を使います。Sign-up uses Microsoft Forms on the university’s contracted Microsoft 365 service.
  • 入力されたメールアドレスを見られるのは、研究責任者と研究従事者（主）だけです。いずれも研究倫理教育（APRIN「人を対象とする研究コース」）を修了しています。Only the principal investigator and the designated lead researchers can see your email address. All of them have completed research-ethics training (APRIN course on research involving human subjects).
  • フォームに入力された氏名・メールアドレス・年齢・性別・利き手などを見られるのは、研究責任者と研究従事者（主）だけです。いずれも研究倫理教育（APRIN「人を対象とする研究コース」）を修了しています。Only the principal investigator and the designated lead researchers can see your name, email address, age, sex, handedness and other answers. All of them have completed research-ethics training (APRIN course on research involving human subjects).
  • 謝金・交通費のお支払いに必要な住所などは、日程が決まった方にだけ別のフォームでお伺いし、研究責任者と研究室の事務担当（本学の会計手続を含む）だけが扱います。銀行口座の番号はフォームには書かず、当日、本学の書式にご記入いただきます。Details needed for payment, such as your address, are requested only from confirmed participants through a separate form, and are handled only by the principal investigator and the lab’s administrative staff (including the university’s accounting procedures). Bank account numbers are never entered in a form; you fill in the university’s form on the day.
  • ご連絡はすべて研究責任者のアドレスからお送りします。研究室の学生の個人アドレスから連絡することはありません。All emails come from the principal investigator’s address — never from a student’s personal account.
  • 計測データには氏名を付けず、秘密鍵を使った一方向の変換（HMAC-SHA256 など）で作る研究用IDで管理します。秘密鍵は研究責任者だけが管理します。Your data carry no name, only a research ID created by a one-way keyed transformation (such as HMAC-SHA256). Only the principal investigator holds the key.
  • 実験の様子はビデオで記録します。外部に出す場合は、顔をぼかすなど匿名化したものだけにし、匿名化していない映像や音声を外部に出すことは一切ありません。Sessions are video-recorded. Anything shared outside the lab is anonymised first (for example, faces blurred or covered); unanonymised video or audio never leaves the lab.
  • 同意をいただいた場合に限り、完全に匿名化したデータ（年齢・性別・利き手と計測の数値データ）を研究データ基盤（GakuNin RDM 等）で公開することがあります。映像は公開しません。Only with your consent, fully anonymised data (age, sex, handedness and numerical recordings) may be published through a research data platform such as GakuNin RDM. Video is never made public.
  • 同意を撤回された場合、まだ解析に使っていないデータを削除し、削除したことをお知らせします。学会等で発表済みの集計データと公開済みの完全匿名化データは、個人が特定できないため削除できません。If you withdraw, we delete any data not yet analysed and tell you when it is done. Aggregated results already presented and fully anonymised data already published cannot be removed, because they no longer identify anyone.

よくある質問Questions

謝礼と交通費は？Is there payment, and are travel costs covered?
謝金は1時間あたり2,000円で、所要約2時間（目安）の場合は4,000円です。1時間以内に終わった場合や、計測の途中で参加をやめた場合は2,000円です。学外の方で交通費が不要の場合は、図書カードで受け取ることもできます。
交通費は、最寄駅から JR 折尾駅までの鉄道運賃を、規定額（本学の学生は学割の額。学割はご自身で学務に申請してください）でお支払いします。特急料金は100kmを超える場合だけ、上限は往復1万円です。バス代・宿泊費はお支払いできません。若松キャンパスに在籍している方と、JR の最寄駅が折尾の方は対象外です。
謝金（振込）・交通費は銀行振込で、現金でのお渡しはありません。当日、必要書類をお持ちでない場合はお支払いの対象外となります。The fee is ¥2,000 per hour: ¥4,000 for a session of about 2 hours (guide), or ¥2,000 if the session ends within an hour or you stop part-way through the recording. Participants from outside Kyutech who do not claim travel costs may take the fee as a book voucher.
Travel costs cover the rail fare from your nearest station to JR Orio at the standard rate (the student-discount fare for Kyutech students; please obtain the discount certificate from Student Affairs yourself). Limited-express surcharges are covered only for journeys over 100 km, and the cap is ¥10,000 for the round trip. Bus fares and accommodation are not covered. People based at the Wakamatsu campus, and people whose nearest JR station is Orio, are not eligible.
Payments are made by bank transfer, never in cash. If you do not bring the required documents on the day, we cannot make the payment.
参加したことを SNS に載せてもいいですか？Can I post about taking part on social media?
歓迎します。ただ、SNS に載せると、ペアを組んだ方や、消去法で誰がいつ参加したかが分かってしまうことがあります。実験室の中では写真・動画を撮らず、参加した日時、ほかの参加者のこと、実験者の名前、募集ページに書かれていない実験の内容は載せないよう、ご協力をお願いします。実験室の外で、実験者と一緒に（許可を得て）撮る写真はかまいません。実験者は研究室の決まりで、LINE や Instagram などの連絡先を交換できません。詳しくはこちら（当日も紙でお渡しします）。You are welcome to. But a post can reveal who your pair partner was, or by elimination who took part when. Please do not take photos or video inside the lab room, and please do not post the date or time you took part, anything about other participants, researchers’ names, or details of the study beyond this page. Photos taken outside the lab together with researchers, with their permission, are fine. Under lab rules, researchers cannot exchange LINE, Instagram or other contact details. See the full guidance (also given to you on paper on the day).
友だちと2人で応募するには？How do two friends apply together?
お2人がそれぞれフォームから登録し、「ペア合言葉」の欄に同じ言葉を入れてください。相手の方の名前や連絡先は書かないでください。Each of you registers through the form and enters the same “pair code”. Please don’t enter your partner’s name or contact details.
1人でも応募できますか？Can I apply on my own?
はい。Hexとじゃんけんは2人1組の実験ですが、1人で応募された方には、他の応募者との日程調整をご相談します。画像の見分け課題とジャグリングは1人で参加します。Yes. Hex and rock-paper-scissors are done in pairs; we will discuss arranging a session with another applicant. The image task and juggling are done individually.
メガネをかけていますが参加できますか？I wear glasses. Can I take part?
視線計測器はメガネの形をしています。度付きのレンズに交換できるものがあります（+3〜−8.0）。補正しても不快な場合は、その場で辞退できます。気になる方は当日ご相談ください。The eye tracker is worn like glasses, and prescription inserts are available (+3 to −8.0). If it is still uncomfortable you can simply decline on the spot. Feel free to ask us on the day.
参加条件に当てはまるか迷っています。I’m not sure whether I’m eligible.
応募フォームには体調や病気のことを書かないでください。迷う場合は、応募の前に下の問い合わせ先へメールでご相談いただくか、当日スタッフに口頭でお伝えください。Please don’t write anything about your health in the form. If unsure, email us before applying, or tell a researcher in person on the day.
応募を取り消したいときは？How do I cancel?
確認メールに「取り消し」と返信してください。理由を書く必要はありません。Reply “cancel” to the confirmation email. You don’t need to give a reason.
研究計画書などの詳しい資料は見られますか？Can I see the full study documents?
ご希望があれば、問い合わせ先までご連絡ください。ほかの参加者の個人情報を守るため、また研究の公正性・独創性を保つため、お見せできない部分もあります。Yes, on request. Some parts may be withheld to protect other participants’ privacy and the fairness and originality of the research.
