Comprehensive Care Services
for All Seniors!
SABOTICS is a startup project that originated from HMA. It utilizes technologies from home service robot development to create robots that assist with indirect and peripheral activities in nursing care homes.
SABO

SABO is equipped with sensors, including cameras and LiDAR, that enable autonomous movement. The large front display facilitates communication through expressive facial features and large text. The arm mounted on the lift is capable of picking up objects from the floor or desk.
Features

Display
A large vertical display shows the status of the robot with expressive facial features and large text.

Mobile Base
We adopted a ball-driven omnidirectional base developed by TriOrb, capable of carrying up to 300 kg.

Artificial Intelligence
We utilize the latest artificial intelligence technologies for recognizing objects, voices, features, and poses.
Tasks for SABO

Caregiver tasks can be categorized into three types: direct, indirect, and peripheral tasks. SABO handles the indirect and peripheral tasks that do not require direct interaction with users. By taking on 20% of a caregiver’s burdens, SABO creates an environment that allows caregivers to concentrate more on their direct tasks.
