Our goal is to develop AI systems to complement current digital computers and software-based AI systems.

We promote the research and development of neuromorphic AI hardware and study material intelligence to draw out the capabilities of materials in collaboration with the research fields of materials, devices, circuits, systems, and algorithms to create an ultra-efficient and high-performance AI system.

We will also focus on research into brain-like hardware, based on the knowledge of brain science. Our goal is to create next-generation systems that far surpass current AI systems.
